When the Ice Trolls learn that Arwyn plans to kill Mordath, he vows to do all he can to stop the Berserker. Their leader explains the origin of the Berserkers and how they relate to Mordath and Marta the troll witch. As he finishes his tale, the Berserker attacks. After the beast slaughters most of the trolls, Arwyn manages to wound it with Ayden's Bow but does not kill it.Elsewhere Bohr and Khiva debate why they are serving a lowly human and how he is using the trolls to wipe out his own race.
